Everyone hears him (when he enters the street) Explanation: I understand this term as incorporating everybody, and clearly there is an implicationof volume here, but I have only heard it previously in terms of a rumour that spreads everywhere, which is why I think the main thrust refers to the numbers of people who hear rather than it being extremely loud. |
