the term is taken from particle accelerators and might be "beam-line station" in English but I'm not even sure of this
I think here it is used in a figurative sense (so "beam-line station" is ruled out)
Literally in Swedish, it means "goal/objective" + "station"
So the problem is that no one can find such a term taken from nuclear physics and used in this more figurative way
this is the closest I can get to the Swedish, but in acceptable English of course
But it is most often used in Education for courses

I'm as unsure of the Swedish 'syntax' as Andrej F. and would wait for a native Swedish of Finländare take, but - when faced with such a garbled message or drunken garbage - it might be a wise policy to turn down the job in advance. UK Solicitor clients as end-users, for instance and as I learned to my cost, may be linguistically clueless but they will still cheekily ask what the translator's Swedish credentials are...

: The syntax is clear, not the meaning: Man går in i förståelse att man behöver, och då köper man in sig på, en sådan här målstation. // And what, pray, is a terminal prospect?! End-goal seems likely, but what's the point in guessing without any context?

Well, obviously you - in your Swedish omniscience - don't know what the word means in the context. At least I have taken a stab at a translation. // Well, the other answer chosen picked up on my terminal idea.

Moreover, the whole text is written in a weird, messy, and plainly wrong way! e.g. "att man behöver..." What?. One needs what? There should stay something after "behöver". Also, "att köpa sig in". Very weird way of writing, and unusual expression to use, in an official document!
