Судя по всему речь идет о приготовлении исходных стандартных растворов, из которых готовят рабочие стандартные растворы (с разной концентрацией для построения калибровочной кривой). Затем из рабочих растворов готовят калибровочные образцы и образцы контроля качества в плазме (матрице). "Bulk" означает, что эти растворы готовят в большом объеме, а затем этот объем делят на аликвоты.
