English term or phrase: Annual review Payment
Hi,
I'm a bit confused about what is meant by "Annual review Payment". Do they mean "annually set/determined salary"?
I'd also appreciate some clarification as to the point above, ideally from someone who's familiar with British employment practices. Am I correct in understanding that the salary of this person could increase after 3 months based on the review? Because the sentence is written in such a way as to make one think that this person "will receive £XX,XXX for 3 months". I mean "per annum" means "per year", right? So he will get £XX,XXX for 1 year, but he will undergo a probationary period of 3 months during that year, and he might receive a higher salary next year (but not during that year)? Thank you.

Basic salary
• £XX,XXX per annum for 3 month probationary period and then to be reviewed
• Annual review Payment made monthly at end of month into bank account

I believe Phil Goddard is right. There must be a full stop after the word 'review' and 'Payment' should start as the first word of a third bullet point. But your reply was helpful anyway. Thanks.
