What we have found in 2022 is that for the first five months at least, simple is best:
pure trend strategies trading the largest futures markets have been the star performers.

Macro-economic themes are driving markets, in our view; inflation, central bank activity, war, supply chain disruption, de-globalisation and post-pandemic recovery, to name but a few. They are all interlinked, of course, but these are macro trends which are best observed in macro-sensitive instruments such as futures on global markets, be they country-level equity indices, government bonds or the largest of the world’s commodities.

Wie würdet ihr diesen Satz übersetzen? Hier meine bisherige Lösung, die mir aber viel zu wörtlich klingt:

Unsere Zwischenbilanz nach den ersten fünf Monaten des Jahres 2022 ist folgende: je einfacher desto besser. Reine Trendfolgestrategien für das Trading an den großen Futures-Märkten haben sich am besten bewährt. ***Dies kann man in gewisser Weise als intuitiv bezeichnen.*** Unserer Ansicht nach werden Märkte von makroökonomischen Themen gesteuert, wie zum Beispiel Inflation, Zentralbankaktivitäten, Krieg, Unterbrechung der Lieferkette, Deglobalisierung und Erholung nach der Pandemie.
