Je ne sais pas comment traduire de manière correcte et formelles les mots ci-dessus dans le contexte suivant :

Ces travaux sont à la charge du propriétaire de l’immeuble. Le service public compétent en matière d'assainissement collectif peut astreindre le propriétaire au versement d’une participation pour le financement de cet assainissement collectif (L 1331-7 du Code de la santé publique). Ce paiement a pour but de tenir compte de l'économie réalisée par eux en évitant une installation "d'évacuation ou d'épuration individuelle réglementaire" ou la mise aux normes d'une telle installation.

Some may disagree as I'm far removed from the French terms but this is what they are almost certainly referring to as this system is still quite common in France
The evacuation into the septic tank is simply tacitly understood, where the waste is then treated with products before the septic tank is taken away by a contractor specialised in this operation

  -> We don't normally use 'individual" in that way in English. it is translated by the term "a" (one)

disagree  Tony M: Again, you have wrongly associated 'individual' with both items. In addition, in the UK at least we don't talk about 'sewerage purification', but 'treatment'

  -> 'individual' is used this way - in US at least. This might be more US usage, agree on that, but it's for sure used by people in that field.
