Wciąż mam wiele wątpliwości bo dla mnie to prawie to samo.. ale trzeba użyć raczej dwóch różnych wyrażeń. Chodzi o uczniów technikum gastronomicznego, którzy odbędą praktyczną naukę zawodu w formie praktyki zawodowej w restauracji na Malcie.

A few suggestions. As Frank mentioned earlier, it all depends on the arrangement between the school and the employer, length etc. Students in my school complete externships while in many other schools they complete internships (praktyki zawodowe). I would not lose my sleep over it.
