English to French translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Patents / bioactive collagen biomaterial
English term or phrase: advancing wound edge
Biomaterial for use in treating a wound or excision wherein the biomaterial is for contact with an advancing wound edge to promote and/or accelerate wound closure.

For use in wound therapy, exposing cells to collagen and more specifically, specially configured collagen materials having denatured collagen, in the form of pads, sponges, foams, granules, hydrogels, slurries and the like as tissue or wound coverings would expose the non-advancing wound edge to the RGD amino acid sequence and help promote and accelerate wound closure.

La progression des berges de la plaie

Explanation:
Les berges de la plaie
S’il y a une zone de la plaie qui doit mériter toute notre attention, ce sont bien les berges de la plaie. En effet les berges sont le secret de la cicatrisation. C’est en effet sur les berges que s’implante le fibroblaste pour cicatriser. C’est donc le lieu stratégique de la cicatrisation.

neutral  Daryo: Why did you turn an adjective ("advancing") into a noun ("la progression")? Sounds to me like an unnecessary complication.
