basin or Wash tub Explanation: كثيراً ما نسمعهم يقولون: طَشْت، فهل هذه الكلمة عربيَّة؟ كلمة (طَشْت) ليست عربيَّة، بل هي فارسيَّة مُعَرَّبة وتعني: إناء الغسيل وجمعها طُشُوت وقيل: مُعَرَّبها: تَشْت - بالتاء، ويرى بعض اللغويين أنَّ البديل العربي لكلمة (طَشْت) هو (طَسْت) بالسين وهي لغة طيء - والطَّسْت أصلها طَسّ أوطَسْة. ويرى بعضهم أنَّ (طَسْت) - بالسين - ليست عربيَّة أيضاً بل هي دخيلة من أصل فارسي؛ لأنَّ التاء والطاء لا يجتمعان في كلمة عربيَّة في حين يرى بعضهم أنَّها مُعرَّبة؛ جاء في المصباح المنير: «(الطَّسْتُ): أصلها (طَسّ) فأبدل من أحد المضعَّفين تاء لثقل اجتماع المثلين؛ لأنه يقال في الجمع (طِساس)، وفي التصغير (طُسَيْسَة)، وجُمعت أيضاً على (طُسُوس) باعتبار الأصل، وعلى (طُسُوت) باعتبار اللفظ ونقل عن بعضهم التذكير والتأنيث، فيقال: هو الطسْة، والطسْت، وهي الطسْة والطسْت» ... وجمعها طِسَات على لفظها، وقال السجستاني: هي أعجميَّة مُعَرَّبة، ولهذا قال الأزهري: هي دخيلة في كلام العرب؛ لأنَّ التاء والطاء لا يجتمعان في كلمة عربية». وهذه الكلمة مستعملة في كلامنا العربي فليس هناك ما يمنع استعمالها، لكني أرى أنْ نخضعها لنظام الجملة العربيَّة فنوظفها توظيفاً صحيحاً من حيث الإسناد والتركيب والموقعيَّة والرتبة والتضام ... إلخ. https://www.aleqt.com/2012/03/16/article_636981.html |
