El nombre no es muy afortunado; en algún idioma debería encontrarse una referencia a "medias/stockings" para referirse a la configuración de estas livideces -versus "pantalón". Como también sugerido, lower dependent areas no sería ajustado aquí al hacer referencia a las zonas declives, que no tienen por qué corresponderse con piernas y pies. Así, a la hora de traducir "en pantalón" deberíamos hablar de "livideces en piernas y pies". La solución propuesta es sólo un barrunto de aproximación; podría haber alguna forma más natural de expresar la misma idea en inglés. |
