no bare break point pas de point de rupture exposé Explanation: pas de point de rupture (dont la surface est extrêmement rugueuse) exposé If you go through the description of those "Bouchons d'étanchéité Expander®" to which "Keine blanke Bruchstelle nach Abbrechen des Dorns" applies, you can see that in fact there ISN'T any "breaking off" of some piece of metal. It's the absence of any breaking point that is listed as one of the advantages of using these seals - there is no "wasted material" and as no metal breaks after being stretched beyond limits of elasticity, so there's no "breaking point" - the surface of which would be like thousands of sharp needles ("rough" doesn't even begin to describe it). IOW the implied meaning is: "with these seals you don't have to worry about anyone getting injured on the bare surface of a breaking point - as there is none". https://www.halder.fr/PM/Elements-normalises/Elements-pour-m... https://res.cloudinary.com/proz/image/upload/v1681580422/kud... If you locate the 3 occurrences of "Keine blanke Bruchstelle nach Abbrechen des Dorns" within this page: https://www.boellhoff.com/de-de/produkte/spezialverbindungse... after "Montage und Prinzip" you can see that it refers ALWAYS to those "seals" where nothing breaks off. BTW "Introduire le bouchon d’étanchéité Expander® dans l’alésage à étanchéifier et procéder à l’opération de montage jusqu’à ce que le tirant casse ayant une fois la force de rupture atteinte." is ***a big fat red herring*** - does not concern those seals described as "Keine blanke Bruchstelle nach Abbrechen des Dorns" |
