Salve a tutti di nuovo. I soliti cercatori d'oro.
Un sommozzatore si è immerso in acqua per aiutare la squadra a dragare in un punto dove sono certi ci sia molto oro. Si è appena calato e deve un attimo abituarsi all'acqua fredda, nel frattempo comunica con un altro membro della squadra, che si trova in superficie, tramite un dispositivo radio. Quest'altro membro conosce bene la sensazione perché è anche lui un sommozzatore.


Sommozzatore: Holy shit (BLEEP) that hurts argh
Membro squadra: Yeah its cold
Sommozzatore: This is the worst part man
Membro squadra: It’s all throttled up as high as it’ll go
Sommozzatore: It’s good man, it’s good. Alright man, get the work ethic on… When you can, let me know when you throw that basket in

Scusate se è scritto in maniera strana ma ho riportato letteralmente lo script, che è scritto sempre quasi come fosse un flusso di coscienza...
Mi potreste aiutare a tradurre le ultime due frasi? Non sono sicura di aver capito bene il senso di quel "throttled up as high as it’ll go" e di conseguenza nemmeno "get the work ethic on".

La mia sensazione, vista la scelta di usare la parola “throttle”, è che si riferiscano a qualche strumento che stanno maneggiando o utilizzando per o durante l’immersione - non so se hai modo di vedere la scena e averne riscontro - quindi io lo tradurrei come ho scritto.

Per quanto riguarda “Alright man, get the work ethic on”, non essendo possibile una traduzione letterale io direi “Forza, mettiti al lavoro”
