As of week 43, there were 1 992 confirmed cases of people infected with Covid-19 in Sweden. Slightly less than half of all confirmed cases concern elderly people who receive some form of elderly care (home or institutional care). In region Västerbotten, there were 88 confirmed cases (4,4% of confirmed cases). Under the same week, 23 people died of Covid in Sweden, (ca. 1,1% of confirmed cases) and ca. 40 people died with Covid (2%).
As of week 44, we observe a rapid increase in the number of people who need hospital care: 805 people were hospitalised with Covid, of which , a 33% increase from the week before. Of these, 22 (ca. 3%) required intensive care. More specifically in region Västerbotten 18 people were hospitalised with Covid, however no one required intensive care. No information for how many people died with or because of Covid is available for week 44 yet.

neutral  Landsknecht: "от или вследствие" - это тавтология. Если говорится "died with", это лишь значит, что на момент смерти у них был ковид. Точно так же, как был, например, кариес или герпес. Но это не значит, что умерли от ковида.
