En este caso (salvo especificación contraria), de ambas mamas (de ahí "junctions" versus "junction"; "junction of upper and lower outer quadrants"). ULOQ (upper-lower outer quadrant) sería en cualquier caso el equivalente a ICE (intercuadrante externo). De referirse como parece a ambas mamas, tal vez "ULOQs" (upper-lower outer quadrants). Sin embargo tampoco he encontrado referencias a "outer overlapping region/quadrant" o equivalente, que parecería una forma natural de expresarlo en inglés.
