Increase in Dollar Amount for Lump Sum Distributions

If the lump sum actuarial value of any benefit is $9,000 or less ($7,000 or less for distributions made prior to January 1, 2020), it will be paid in a lump sum upon submission of the required benefit application, and the participant's spouse or domestic partner is not required to consent to the distribution.
