German term or phrase: Vorfeldlichtverteilung
Bei der Lichtverteilung handelt es sich um eine Vorfeld- oder Abblendlichtverteilung.

This is discussing car headlights. I understand Abblendlichtverteilung as low beam or dipped beam but what is a good solution for 'Vorfeld'? I think this is the area directly in front of the car within the driver's line of vision?

English translation:near-field illumination
Explanation:
Flood Beam:
A flood beam is designed for near-field illumination. The reflector distributes the light over a large area in the near field of the vehicle.
Wide beam:
A wide beam pattern is designed, manufactured and intended for near-field illumination. The reflector distributes the light widely in the near field around the vehicle.
Ultra Wide Beam:
An Ultra Wide Beam is intended for close-range illumination. With an extra wide light cone, the reflector
provides particularly extensive illumination in the vehicle’s near field.
Combo beam:
A combo-beam is designed, manufactured and intended for both: far-field and near-field illumination. The reflector combines a spot and wide beam to achieve a wide illumination in the near field and a punctual illumination in the far field of the vehicle

There is also something called "Standlicht". But this is only used for/in a vehicle that does not move. Not sure what they mean by it specifically. But this is what I thought first.

puddle lights/entry lights

Explanation:
I’ve found various vehicle parts that go by Vorfeldleuchten in German and ‘puddle lights/lamps’ in English; for example, VW part no 6R0945291: https://www.kfz-scheuch.at/shop/vorfeldleuchte-spiegelleucht... in German and https://xenons4u.co.uk/vw-golf-mk6-6r0945291-6r0945292-under... in English. Same situation for Mercedes-Benz part no A2038200159.

Basically, they are lights just underneath the wing mirror that illuminate the ground next to the door so you don’t step into a puddle when you get out of the car. There are also other names for them, such as ‘entry lights’.

-> Without more context, we don't know for certain that it is headlights specifically that are involved. The poster may have (understandably) assumed headlights in a general automotive context. If it definitely IS headlights, of course, you're quite right.

full-beam coverage/illumination

Explanation:
As Jonathan says, Abblendlichtverteilung means low or dipped beam. The opposite of that is full beam, which illuminates the area straight ahead.

Here's a similar term, though I'm not sure I agree with the answer:

-> The apron is inside the car, and doesn't need illumination. This is about headlights.
