Hello everyone,
I need help translating the term "bland diet" into Arabic. It is a diet consisting of foods that are generally soft, low in dietary fiber, cooked rather than raw, and not spicy that generally aims to give the GIT a break and allow it to rest and recover. I found some translations, but I feel that they are not the most suitable. Examples include:
1- حمية بلاند or نظام بلاند الغذائي: I feel this translation implies that the diet was created by someone named Bland rather than referring to this diet's nature.
2- الحمية اللطيفة or الحمية الخفيفة: I find this one too general and can apply to many types of diets.
3- الحمية الخالية من المثيرات الغذائية: I am leaning towards this translation as, in my opinion, it is the most accurate one that somewhat gives a hint about the nature of this diet. The problem is I didn't find many resources that use this translation.
I would appreciate any help deciding on the translation or suggesting a new, more accurate one.
