I would leave just like that with the explanation in parenthesis. I could not find a web site with the "official" translation, but in my experience working with Audit consultants in Chile, we use UF [Indexation Unit]

Unidad de Fomento

La Unidad de Fomento (UF) es uno de los sistemas de reajustabilidad autorizados por el Banco Central de Chile al amparo de lo establecido en el número 9 del artículo 35 de su Ley Orgánica Constitucional.

Definición de la UF:

La Unidad de Fomento (UF) es es una medida reajustable basada en la variación del Indice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC).

By the way, in my previous question (link above), jmf mentioned that it appears as \"development units\" in Orellana\'s guidebook. And Orellana is from Chile, what do you know? :)
