Arabic term

borto asout

Arabic to English Social Sciences Geography
Country: Egypt

I tried Googling this in different ways but am still not sure about the name and location of this place:

Ana fe borto asout

In another part of the text, the person says:

ryhin porto aw marina (at) 4

Is this "porto" the same as the one above?
Proposed translations (English)
1 Port Assiut
4 Porto, hurray

Thank you for your insights. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Amal, he was joking when he said that, Benouk village is between Shourouk and Atabaa. Shourouk touristic village is right before Al Bonouk touristic village 42nd km the west coast of Alexandria(Sa7el), and it is followed by Carribiano Village(i live there), so when he said Atabaa, which is in Cairo, he was absolutely joking. as for Borto asout, i have never heard of it.

Olfat, thank you for your input. In two different places in the text, someone says he is in "borto asout." He says it in a very straightforward way when someone asks him where he is. He's leaving "borto asout" to visit his friend who lives in a village called Benouk, which (according to the text) is between Shorouk and Atbaa. He's leaving "borto asout" at kilo 85 and will make the trip to Benouk, which is located at kilo 42. Maybe this could shed some light on what is meant by "porto asout."
Olfat Abdullah Feb 18, 2014:
Hi Amel, could you please provide more context for the "borto asout" part? Because maybe they are sarcastically talking about Assiut, which is a southern Egyptian governorate.

Port Assiut

Perhaps he is joking and referring to a place where there are people from Assiut (Asyout) city about 400 km south of Cairo

Porto, hurray

May be he/she can believe himself.
Asout means literally "Can I shout expressing happiness?"
