Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): writeaway

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

agree Ken Cox : probably the serial number of the bank card (mine has the good Dutch term 'Cardnumber' for this)

bedankt
agree jarry (X) : I would also be inclined to use 'card' rather than 'pass' number. 'Serial' seems superfluous somehow. Normally, only the last four digits of the card are shown, for obvious reasons.

It could be account number and pass number. Serial may suggest privacy."Tijdens de aanlogprocedure wordt gecontroleerd of het door u ingevoerde rekeningnummer bestaat én het ingevoerde pasvolgnummer daadwerkelijk bij het opgegeven rekeningnummer hoort"
agree Chris Hopley : "card serial number" or "card ID" - my bank card has one. It's unique to the card, allowing you to see which card was used for a given transaction. Handy if you have multiple cards for one account.

yes, let's change from pass to card. thanks
agree Dave Calderhead : and with Chris - I have cards from two banks and the card number is a three or four digit number after the account number on the card

sequence/control number

I presume that the next person will have the next number (i.e. in number order). This number allows the bank to quickly check an operation.
