I think 'doux' is the right word for 'soft' in this context, but seems to me to beg the addition of the word 'lighting' to make it work.
I don't think 'tamisé' is actually quite appropriate for this retail dispaly context, but I just throw it in for what it's worth.

Never mind, at least you have got the right sense in your version, even though it doesn't correspond to the one you've curiously chosen.
