Laser glasses with a higher protection level (e.g. L2, L3,...) or laser glasses with a broadband filter with protection level L2 or more including the wavelength of 2100 nm may also be used.
Never look directly into the laser beam even while wearing laser glasses.
If the patient is unable to wear laser glasses during the treatment because the treatment is close to the eyes, other adequate protective measures must be taken, e.g. using eye bowls.
