English to Russian Other Law: Taxation & Customs

The Project calls for an
Analysis of minimum three successful regional integrated cooperation organizations (RCO’s) in customs like European Union (EU), the Mercado Común del Sur (MERCOSUR), The North American Free Trade Area, the Central American Common Market, the common Market of the Arab countries, etc., in view of identifying their best practices and preparation of specific recommendations of introducing these best practices on the common customs territory of the Customs Union.

This is with a view to providing the CCC with an overview of how a regional entity is organized and oversees and administers the customs operations and initiatives that are subsequently implemented in its memberstates.

A number of RCOs along the spectrum of integration were considered for this activity, ranging from Free Trade Areas to full monetary unions.
