Taken from document relating to an electricity supply contract and specifically concerns the ARENH mechanism in France whereby electricity suppliers can access electricity generated by EDF's (French utility company) nuclear power plants at a regulated price.

The paragraph from which the above phrase is taken is specifically about changes to the conditions under which electricity generated on a particular site is "injected" into the transmission grid or otherwise used by the producer.

"Decompte" seems to be related to the idea of a site where there is an electricity supplier DIRECTLY connected to the public transmission network and other entities on the same site INDIRECTLY connected to the transmission network via this first supplier.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you're right about "feed". No, unfortunately, there is no explanation of the term elsewhere in the document and there is insufficient context to hazard a guess. An extended period of googling has thrown up several references to "situation de decompte" or "service de decompte" in French power provider related documentation but no explanation of what exactly it means.

I think you're on the right track though with "comptage" as "decompte" seems to relate to how power capacity/consumption is metered on a site with one or more providers not directly connected to the public grid. I have a feeling it could be somehow connected to "sub-metering" but I am not sure. Thanks for your help.

Two possibilities Décompte could mean discount, or (and this may be completely off track), it could mean unmetered, since a compteur is a meter. But I would expect the term to be explained or elaborated on elsewhere in the document.

I think you'll find that "feed" is the verb normally used, rather than "inject".

The beginning of the paragraph from which the phrase is taken is simply: "changements des conditions d'exploitation et d'injection de production d'electricite de site".

This in then followed (in brackets) by the above phrase.
