cancellation of the non-possesory pledge (or) registered security interest
What in many Spanish-speaking jurisdictions is known as "prenda sin desplazamiento de la posesión" is generally rendered as "non-possesory pledge" and is a type of registered security interest.

From a Spanish source: "...The product of these tendencies was the Law of 16 December 1954 regulating the non-possesory pledge ('prenda sin desplazamiento') ...the key factor to reinforce the system lies in the erga omnes effects of the registered security interest."
Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell. "Introduction to Spanish Private Law." London: Routledge Cavendish, 2010, p. 209.
(Several Spanish sources have invented a literal translation --"pledge without displacement"-- which is fairly meaningless, although much copied.)
