Can anyone shed light on the abbreviations D.I. and D.O. found in a Salvadorian birth certificate? They are in the official stamp certifying the copy as an authentic reproduction

+++Ahora me doy cuenta de que en la frase copiada pone D.L. no D.I.
Resulta de esperar que sea decreto legislativo o decreto ley.

habría que comprobar si resulta cabal para el caso. No sería D.I. sino D.L.
Otro documento que menciona partida de nacimiento con las mismas siglas:

Se tendría que valorar si es probable o posible que en el sello se aluda al decreto (ley o legislativo) y al diario oficial.
De ser así, la traducción (debes saberlo mejor que yo) sería algo parecido a "legislative decree and official journal".
D podría ser director/dirección.
