Spanish term
Vasopresor en infusión a D.R.
Spanish to English
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Aporte de amina y vasopresor en infusión a D.R.
The term causing me problems is the "D.R.". I've seen it in similar contexts and it seems to be a specific way of intravenous administration. What would be the meaning in Spanish and its corresponding translation into English? Thank you!

I think this has to be "recommended dose"." However, it would really be nice to have more context. For one thing, is this from a doctor's or nurse's report in which much use is made of of abbreviations & acronyms, often, I've found, local or even downright idiosyncratic?
I ask this because although I think "recommended dose" is right, I did not find an instance in Spanish that gave the equivalency "D.R." = "dosis recomendado".
There is of course the "dose-response relationship" for medications, but I can't see how it would fit here - unless there's something in the context outside the S.T. provided.

dose response
a range of doses over which response occurs. Doses lower than the threshold produce no response while those in excess of the threshold exert no additional response. The shape of the curve is usually hyperbolic when plotted with linear axes and gives a sigmoidal curve when response is plotted versus the log of the dose. Beneficial drug responses are typically plotted on separate dose response curves. Because the dose response and the chemotherapeutic index can overlap to some degree and may have different slopes, the margin of safety is often considered to be a better index.

En el grupo de anestesia endovenosa el propofol se suministró por medio de una bomba de infusión a dosis respuesta.
Dose response, maybe.
propofol 1 g a DR
300 mg de midazolam a DR
