agree  philgoddard: I agree with Kim that an Unternehmensverbund can be a group of associated companies, but I think in this context it clearly means partnerships with other companies. It could also mean a syndicate or consortium for bidding purposes.

This is a tough one. And Unternehmensverbund or Unternehmensverbindung is a group of companies. http://www.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/business_commerc...
But "group of companies contracts" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.
