The U.S. government gives NTAs to people who they believe are in the United States without permission. If you receive an NTA, this means that the government is starting an immigration court case against you. If you received an NTA, you can apply for asylum in immigration court.

written confirmation

Explanation:
In the field of immigration it could be about the migrant person's entitlement to work, whereby he or she could be called to an office with a written statement of his active presence, within a specific time of working hours or days. There are other instances in which a person could be held accountable for an offense resulting in a notice that he or she must pay, for example, a car parking fine. The person called to attend an office could be in defense of himself or he could be a witness. It's written confirmation or a statement which explains that the named person must attend an office or pay a fine.

SP:

Asker: Hello Phil, I did mention above that this was an immigration Human Rights case (I also included it relates to a Venezuela national). Then again, if this question has already been asked, why could I not find it during my research in Proz.com? Thank you just the same. I truly appreciate it.
