Userei la parola "propensione" in questo caso. Ho messo il resto tra parentesi perché può essere non indispensabile.

Il mio dubbio è se con "alignment" ci si riferisca a "propensione/inclinazione" (anche senza esperienza) oppure all'aver avuto già, dopo il marketing, un'esperienza nei settori comunicazione e pubbliche relazioni. Forse tu avendo tutto il contesto riesci a fugare questo dubbio.
