Source text - English AAA started working at XX 37 years ago. The company played an unusual role in her life at that time: it was essentially a sanctuary.
AAA, 18 years young in those first few weeks of 1985, having just completed occupational training in the hospitality industry and full of hopes and dreams, was standing at her first major fork in the road. She had grown up amid the majestic Alpine panorama in Oppenberg, a village of 300 people in Styria, Austria, but now felt uncomfortable at home, like she was being put under pressure. Not only by her then boyfriend, who wanted to get married and have children soon, but also by her family, who assumed their daughter would start helping out regularly in the family restaurant business.
The thoughts tumbled through her mind. Was it time to settle down already? She didn’t really want to. She was eager to go out into the world. She took a few weeks to make up her mind, and then knew what to do. One day at the end of January, she pulled her red suitcase out of the closet, went to the train station, purchased a one-way ticket, and boarded a train. She needed a new life. It was going to begin right then.
The young woman went to a town where her father lived - a place close to Plochingen near Stuttgart. But not just for a short vacation; this time AAA stayed. She began her job hunt, which is when she learned that XX in YY was looking for people to help out in production. So she knocked on a window at the plant entrance, asking for directions to the personnel office. She had an interview, and on March 19, 1985, she started as an assembler and re-solderer in electronics production.
