Source text - German Das erfindungsgemäße Gewindeelement aus Kunststoff umfasst ein Axialstück mit einer Mittelachse und einem um die Mittelachse in mehreren Windungen umlaufenden Gewindegang als Außengewinde. Das Außengewinde ist angepasst, um bei einem Einschrauben in eine Aufnahmeöffnung eines Trägerteils aus Kunststoff ein Gegengewinde zu formen, wobei eine Mehrzahl benachbarter Windungen zumindest über einen Teilbereich des Axialstücks durch mindestens zwei parallel zur Mittelachse verlaufende Spannuten durchbrochen sind, so dass jede durchbrochene Windung zumindest einen Schneidsteg und einen Hemmsteg aufweist, wobei eine radiale Ausdehnung des Schneidstegs größer ist als eine radiale Ausdehnung des Hemmstegs, und eine Kerndicke des Axialstücks senkrecht zur Mittelachse des Außengewindes zumindest in dem Teilbereich des Axialstücks außerhalb der Längsnuten konstant ist. Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform vorliegender Erfindung weist jeweils der Schneidsteg und/oder der Hemmsteg in seinem umfänglichen Verlauf einen konstanten Radius auf. Es ist weiterhin bevorzugt, dass sich ein Radius der Schneidstege und/oder Hemmstege bezogen auf die Längsrichtung des Gewindeelements verändert. Auf diese Weise sind Schneidtiefen der Schneidstege und/oder die Stärke des Presssitzes der Hemmstege im Bauteil bezogen auf die axiale Länge des Gewindeelements gezielt einstellbar. Dies eröffnet die Möglichkeit, eine Torsionsbelastung des Gewindeelements in axialer Richtung auf das Gewindeelement zu verteilen.
