How it all started
I remember that as a kid I used to invent different
words to describe things. Within a short time, me and my friends had created a
real alternative communication language. The problem was to be understood by
the new friends who wanted to join the new group, though … and that's how I got
my first job as an interpreter – at the age of eight. I could not have imagined
that a simple children game could have determined my future professional existence
to such an extent. The interest and urge to learn different languages soon became an authentic passion that still persists today.
University Studies, First Career, and International Travelling
I concluded my university studies with a degree in
General Psychology. Subsequently I obtained further Masters Degrees in
Communication, PNL and Marketing.
In my first career, I have held the role of Sales Manager in an important
company of the Fininvest Group for over 20 year – operating in the Music,
Movies and Videogames Sector, and with direct contact and business partnerships
with various companies, including: Microsoft, Cbs, Nathional Geographic, Warner
Bross, etc. In the same company, I was responsible for the selection and
training of sales personnel and sales staff.
On several occasions I spent some years in Portugal, Spain, Cape Verde,
England, United States, Canada, Argentina and Brazil. This experience has
contributed considerably to the improvement of my knowledge of the local
languages.
