I am a native Balouchi and Urdu speaker. I have a very vast experience of teaching and journalism. I have taught Urdu literature at Urdu University, Karachi and New York University from 1985 to 2006. I translated news items, articles, and essays on different topics of social sciences and other branches of knowledges and wrote for many different prestigious Urdu newspapers like Daily Jang Karachi, Daily Huriath Karachi, Daily Umn Karachi, Daily Ailan Karachi, Daily Rahber Karachi, Weekly Urdu Times and Weekly Pakistan Post New York. Currently, I am a Foreign Language Consultant of the Natoinal Foreign Language Center, University of Maryland, working as a Balouchi pedogogical reviewer and F.L. translation reviwer/editor. I am also a consultant of the New York-based Urdu T.V. channel, Colors Of Asia. I am well refered by the media. I published a collection of poetry and compiling two collection of essays and articles/translations on culture, poetry, literature and sociopolitical issues. Putting together a second collection of poetry. From 1979 to 1985, I was awarded five gold medals, two silver medals, and more than a hundred trophies in the Public Speaking Competition. |
