Translation - Spanish After working a great deal on solving some imperfections reported by users, we launched today the last version of Alpha 1.05 of ASP.NET Free Directory Script. The following are some of the modifications made to the project.
Cyclical dependences:
In this version, of all the changes, the most important one without a doubt, is the elimination of the cyclical dependences that were in the project's solution. To solve this, we added one more project named AFDS-CORE, where we set the entities, base objects, common interfaces, etc, all these things are used by the rest of the projects of the solution, in this way we could solve the dependency problem.
Performing this change led us to make more modifications to the projects, for example, the data layer now only uses interfaces to create objects using a factory class in the core project.
Site visit - New filters:
We added new functions for the managament of sites sent to the directory, now it is possible to filter and see only approved or non approved sites, it is also possible to arrange by name, category, etc.
The UserControls are now ViewUserControls:
AFDS wasn't initially designed for MVC, this is why the user controls were not objects based in the ViewUserControl class, but now we have solved this, now the whole application is entirely MVC ;)
IIS 6 Support:
A user asked for instructions to install AFDS on IIS6. To solve this in the best way, we decided to create an appSettings variable in the Web.config file to inform when AFDS runs on IIS6, in this way when the application creates the routes, it will take into consideration if it is IIS7 or IIS6.
We are still working:
I also want to give a special welcome to ErnestBariq, .NET French developer that is kindly helping us and has joined the team.

Source text - English The Ancient Medieval City
Ciutadella is the ancient medieval city of Minorca. The main points of interest are located on the old quarters, limited by Sa Contramurada, from el Camí de Maó, to Castell de Sant Nicolau, going through Ses Voltes and the d'Es Born Plaza, and of course, the port. The little natural Ciutadella Port is full of fish boats, sailboats and local restaurants, which is one of Minorca's most colorful and appreciated places.
Ses Voltes Street is the main road of the old Ciutadella quarters. The stylized arches provide its typical and characteristic appearance. On it we find the main monumental buildings of the city, with the Minorcan Cathedral as the most important.
We then arrive to the Es Born Plaza, where we find nobility palaces, the old Muslim Citadel and the famous obelisk, created in memory of those who disappeared in the Turkish assault of 1711. We can also enjoy a fantastic view over the port and of the relaxed atmosphere.
The city hall is now located where the Muslim Fortress -Alcázar- used to be. This unique building has been improved as centuries have gone by. This monument portrays in its own characteristic way, the splendid complex of the Es Born Plaza. From here we will go down to the port where we will find numerous stores and souvenir shops.

Bio
Life is whatever you make out of it. I am a firm believer that you can have the life you want, as long as you work hard for it. I was fortunate enough to have the blessing of growing up in the United States and then moving, as a teenager to Mexico. I have a profound sense of respect for both countries and a deep love for the cultures. I am a rare mix of Mexican-American, for I have shared my life in both countries. I can identify with either Mexicans or Americans in a real sense. People usually don't believe I am bilingual/bicultural.
Being a translator is the most rewarding job I have found. I am able to work with the languages that have surrounded me my entire life, and I have the privilege of learning more and more everyday. When I first started translating, I thought, "This is easy, I know both languages really well!" Nevertheless, I must say that there is a lot more to it than that. That is why translating is always a challenge, every job has its specific requirements and I find myself constantly acquiring more vocabulary and knowledge.
I am also a professional dancer. As an artist, I am passionate about what I do, so working as a freelance translator/interpreter conveys the same importance. Everyday I wake up knowing that obstacles are what people see when they have taken their eyes off their goal.
