Take notes during the entire inspection, including the tour.
This is required to ensure all requests from the inspector are captured and acted upon in a timely manner.
Create a list of all records reviewed during the inspection with complete identifying references (e.g. receipt record of ‘product name’, ‘date’, ‘receipt reference number’).
Prepare a similar list of copies of documents the inspector(s) may have asked for.
Prepare these copies *off-line from the inspectors*.
Make sure to stamp these copies as confidential, non-controlled copies before handing them over.
Keep one stamped copy at our company for later reference.
Decide on a decent point in time for handing over such documents (either during a break caused by change of subjects or before the wrap-up
