What are modern day requirements for a translator?

They are as follows:
1. Business administration excellence
2. Excellence in market research
3. Excellent networking and communication skills
4. Nice appearance.

Small font:
knowledge of at least one foreign language would be a plus.

I don't think I have ever 'developed a strategy' for anything... Aug 2, 2010

... I work hard and things just seem to happen.

I sincerely hope this comment does not get "moderated" out, as do so many other expressions of personal opinion on proz.
Am I allowed to say that the wording (and the whole intention behind it) of this poll makes me feel slightly queasy?
I agree with Simon's comment.

I love the "small font" line

To be indispensible Aug 3, 2010

Sarcasm and arrogance intended.

Are they going to bottle our strategies and sell them?

Queasy doesn't cover it!

I also agree with Simon.
