I don't think I have a blog. Unless you count proz, since I treat it as a sort of platform for my moans, groans and feeble stabs at humour, which to my mind is something like the definition of a blog...
I have met a few new clients or collaborators through proz, mostly agencies or other freelancers.

If my ProZ.com profile counts as a blog, then the answer is a clear "yes". Other than this, I have a website and an account with another translator portal. Both have brought me clients. But I wouldn't call either of them a "blog".
P. S. I really like your new avatar, Neil.

My blog is not professional.

It is a self-indulgence in attempt to train myself to write shorter sentences without commas. It also helps to write things of my own. Those of us who deal with the words of others all the time need to reserve a space for our own voice.

Website - not blog

My absolute best client found me through my website. My translation "blog" is right here.
I'm in the process of setting up a blog related to a book I'm writing on another subject.
