| Description | The Professional Translators' Association of Santiago, AGTS, a legally established Chilean non-governmental organization, is a member of the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, FIT. AGTS was founded in 1991 to regulate the practice of the profession, promote the professional advancement of its members, protect their interests, and contribute to Chile's economic, cultural and social development. Its group of translators are proficient in various languages and are bound by a strict code of professional ethics designed to achieve optimal standards of honesty, efficiency and confidentiality. All translators whose application for admission is approved by the Board of the Association are cordially invited to join once the Board has duly accredited their qualifications. |
