8. ***CONVOCATORIA***
I have never quite got to grips with this term, and have seen it translated in many ways. I know it has come up a dozen times, but I cannot decide which term I need, which may well be because I do not understand the concept very well, despite a good Spanish friend trying to explain it to me just yesterday. The last time it came to me in a glossary it was "Round" as in "Round X of NGO Y's calls to tender". Is this the announcement of the conference? I have some other documents, so as further context appears I shall post it. Thanks for you help in advance, it really is appreciated. Spanish Sp to Eng UK. Thanks again :)

Comment: "I shall add all four suggestions from both Benjamín and Terry to the glossary, as I thought they were all useful. I used Terry´s "invitation" for my context. Great help, including Henry´s comments on its use. Thanks again, and have a nice evening. "
