Transcript: An official document of a college or university that has a list of a student\'s classes and the results they received.

What is an Official Transcript?
A transcript is a comprehensive record of a student\'s academic progress, including transferred undergraduate-level hours, credit earned by exam, and degrees awarded.

Transcripts contain confidential information and are released only in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

Official transcripts include the University seal and signature of the Registrar. The cost is $7 per copy and can be ordered by mail, in person, or by phone using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. Transcripts ordered by mail or phone are usually sent the business day following receipt of the order. Students can access an unofficial list of courses via the BONFIRE Information System. Texas A&M does not accept e-mail requests for official transcripts unless it has a scanned signature with it. Texas A&M University will not e-mail a transcript.
