È lo script di un film sul football americano.
Il coach ha radunato i ragazzi per un discorso, nel quale dice:
"You are seniors, this is your last practice, and with the exception of Thomas, Lee, Bo... you get on the weights... tomorrow night will be the last time you put on a football uniform."
Non credo abbia a che fare con i pesi della palestra o l'equipaggiamento (non ha senso). Suggerimenti?

Hi Gianni, I think it has something to do with weight lifting, the coach is talking to Sypitch, one of the players and weight training is fundamental in football.

'hit the wieghts' o 'get on the weights' significa mettersi ai pesi o allenarsi con i pesi. Nel contesto ci sta, visto che parlano di football. Si usa anche dire 'hit the gym' o 'get to the gym', nel senso di fare palestra.
