Spanish term

filtración de abrillantado

Spanish to English Other Wine / Oenology / Viticulture
Hi, I'd appreciate your help with this term.

There isn't much context, but I will explain.

It is part of the process of making wine that follows cold stabilization and is a filtering process carried out with soils. Not the one carried out before cold stabilization and after alcoholic fermentation, which in this case has been done with Bentonite in a soil filter. This one is carried out at the very end with even finer soils to give it a glossier appearance before bottling.

Thanks :)

Note from asker:
Thanks, it was what I had found but thought it was too literal of a translation, and polish...sounded a bit off. But great, it seems to be the term used. Thanks again for your help :)

filtering

Bentonite fining is done to remove tannins I think. After this some wines are filtered to remove any remaining sediment, yeast spores and what-not

Thanks Peter for your input, but it wasn't exactly my question :)
