The learning methods used in training were expert lectures combined with activating, co-operational and student centered methods like, individual working, small group working, and expert groups and group working presentations were also used.In addition, self-tests, structural innovating writing, voting and some drama pedagogic methods were used. The assignments served as tools in implementing the competence based nursing education. The collaborative work was introduced as a main theme, the aim being in giving the participants deeper understanding with personal experience. Many examples of forming course templates, workloads (Give me time to think), assignments and assessment criteria from Finland and other countries were introduced to the participants during the week.
