German term

hg. Ra

German to English Law/Patents Law (general) Decision from an Austrian court
This appears in a decision made by an Austrian appeals court. Context:

Regarding Motion 1. made by

Party 1 (hs.

Ra (xxxx/xx/xxxx) and 2. made by

Party 2 (hg.

Ra (xxxx/xx/xxxx), both represented by

XXXX Rechtsanwälte GmbH

I've seen the translation of hg. as "hiergerichtlich", but am not sure whether Ra is a lawyer here, since these parties are represented by the law firm listed thereafter.

? Like Ellen, I am puzzled by the English context you have posted. I would expect Ra followed by that sequence of numbers(?) to be a Geschäftszahl. Does this fit?

Ra für Verfahren betreffend außerordentliche Revisionen;

whether "Hiergerichtlich" or "hiesig", I find it difficult to believe that the English text uses a German abbreviation as if this were a most natural thing. The anglophone reader is bound to be puzzled as well.
