German term

Verhandlungsvergabe

German to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Bids for tenders
In the "Unterschwellenvergabeverordnung" (UVgO), I can't see much difference between "Verhandlungsverfahren" and "Verhandlungsvergabe".

I've been unable to find any translation of this term, and am just not sure what it's referring to: an "award of negotiations" to a bidder, maybe?

negotiated procedure Another option, based on the following documents:

Definitely not a typo. Vergabeverfahren are not necessarily Verhandlungsverfahren, ie they don't necessarily involve a stage of negotiations (back and forth between "contracting authorities" and tenderer

I do too It's definitely not a typo. It appears numerous times in the ordinance cited.

Could be an error Might be a mis-type for Verhandlungsverfahren, but if not, then I like Michael's answer.
