Spanish term

dedos móviles

"Left hand: Thumb duplication, middle and ring fingers missing, central cleft hand. Lower limbs within normal limits. In both upper and lower limbs, there is evidence of moving fingers, normal sensation and muscle strength of 5/5."

Se me ocurre "infant is able to move fingers".

Un millón de gracias nuevamente

Moveable/movable fingers

Example sentence:

"The range of movement of each finger differed significantly from those of the others (P < 0-01 in each case), the little finger being the most mobile".

Peer comment(s):

neutral liz askew : they are talking here about the toes and fingers!

You're right, Liz. As Cecilia, I was focusing on the hands only. Silly me. So the original English text would be wrong then by not mentioning toes as well. I'd say then a proper translation would be "mobile digits".

mobile fingers

Algunos ejemplos:

Mild symbrachydactyly: The hand has slightly short, mobile fingers with minor webbing. The hand bones and some of the finger bones and the thumb are present.
https://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/condit...

The most difficult problem is the index ray, which lies in a "no man's land" between the central cleft and the mobile thumb.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20138711/

It is important that the repositioned index ray not interfere with gripping and precision maneuvers between the mobile thumb and the ulnar two digits (ring and small) of the hand.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15162314/
Peer comment(s):

neutral liz askew : No, they are talking about digits, i.e. toes and fingers.

True, but I was concentrating on "cleft hand" descriptions and my point was the use of "mobile". Rodrigo seems to have made the same mistake. Funny you gave him a neutral and me a disagree.

You could turn it round and say "the digits can move, etc"
Peer comment(s):

agree Rodrigo Rosales Sosa : Agreed. I actually made a mistake with my own proposed answer. I think "moveable digits" is also an acceptable option.

agree Marcelo González : This works, too!
