Spanish term
broncínea parafernalia

This is clearly not a literal use...But I don't get the meaning. A quote from a mid-career Argentine artist included in a text about her work
Hoy pienso que, para tan densa población de artistas, una dinámica apoyada en la broncínea parafernalia del genio no es funcional, y en cambio sí lo son otros valores y estrategias como el sentido de comunidad y la colaboración.

Tawdry, I like that, good choice!
Example sentence:
Jeremy Fox et al, brought her fame and wealth but she always shied away from the brassy trappings of stardom
This fact should come as no surprise, since purity from the entertainment monolith and its brassy trappings remains as impossible as simultaneously shooting out every television in the world, Elvis-style.

lackluster flourishes
"Broncínea" comes from bronze, which is usually considered second rate to gold and shines less brightly.
My best guess is that they refer to the more flashy aspects of the field like fame, parties, fans, etc., which can be just a façade and not do much for the artist. Maybe it makes more sense with the previous sentences.
Hope that helps.
