DDR2 is a new specification for memory chips. DDR2 provides power savings, running at 1.8 volts (vs. the 2.5 volts used by regular DDR). It's also faster, with 400MHz versions available now, and 533MHz and 667MHz versions in the works. To reduce signal noise, a terminating transistor is placed on each memory chip rather than on the module.

: 原則上, 我同意這種稱法, 但另有更恰當的稱法. Terminating transistor 是用來消除由諧波產生的雜訊的, 你再想想更恰當的稱法, 甚至查得到的.
