But they are all the same: in order to test a missile / rocket you need to launch it hence the range (=mitvach). Now if you launch an already operational missile you don't need to test it i.e. you don't need the test equipment, yet in most cases the location remains the same for all activities.

Thanks Hezy. I'm done with the translation and now Know that "Range" in my text referred to מתחמי שיגור (of rockets, satellites, etc.) so it's neither a מטווח nor שדה ניסוי (although test are also performed there). |
